The Homo Sapiens | Primate Series

This is the final Primates Series image, also the most intelligent animal to habit the Earth, The Homo Sapiens. It's a shame that despite all the intelligence we accumulated as a species, did not prevent us to bring our world to the limit of sustainability. It is really remarkable that I was able to finish this image this very week, a week ago we have reached the Earth Overshoot Day for the year of 2017. If you're unfamiliar with Earth Overshoot Day, it is the day whereby humans have used up their allowance of natural resources that Earth can replenish in one year.
Those resources are specifically, clean water, soil, clean air, carbon sequestration, etc. For 2017, that day was Aug. 2 according to the Global Footprint Network.
